The strange tale of Victoria Principal, a gun and a constipated dog

Dallas star Victoria Principal, who had to put up with some right nonsense as Pam Ewing on the glossy '80s soap, has found herself in the middle of a real-life unlikely plot twist. The actress is being sued by her maid, who claims Victoria pulled a gun on her during an argument about unpaid wages.
The star’s former housekeeper, Maribel Banegas, claims that Victoria sacked her and refused to pay her outstanding wages after she took too long walking the actress’s dog – a Shih Tzu called Mei-Ling.
According to Maribel’s statement, Victoria reacted furiously to her claim that she took so long because she was waiting for Mei-Ling to do what the Daily Mail refers to today as his “business”. She then sacked the maid, and allegedly aimed a gun at her when she asked for her pay.
Maribel then locked herself in a room and called the police. She has now accused Victoria of false imprisonment, emotional distress and assault, and is suing for her lost wages and unspecified damages.
However, the one-time soap princess isn’t taking it lying down. She’s filed a counter-suit on various counts, including trespass, extortion and animal cruelty; the claim states that poor old Mei-Ling was “visibly choking and shaking” when he got back from the controversial walkies, and has since lost weight.
Victoria hasn’t graced our screens since 2000, and is currently training to reach for the stars as a civilian astronaut on beardo squillionaire Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic space flight service.
